Hi there! My name is Candis and I'm a full time cake artist.
My bespoke cakes are created using buttercream, incorporating different mediums using hand painted techniques, modeling chocolate, sugar work, ganache, gelatin, and very occasionally a small amount of fondant. The most important part of my business is executing an artistic edible centerpiece, unique to the celebration.
All of my cakes are designed with originality in mind. It is very, very rare that I will replicate a cake - even my own. Whether it's a small dinner party for 8, or a wedding reception for 300, every cake that leaves my kitchen is incredibly special to me.
I’m often asked how far in advance someone should book. The best answer - it’s never too early. I usually book up around 2-3 weeks in advance, however it never hurts to ask if I have a last minute opening.
