My name is Candis and I love art. Even more than art, I love cake. Best case scenario: Combine both of those and make a career out of it! I’m known for my time-lapse Instagram stories, love for sarcasm, and just keeping it real in general. I have a fantastic supportive husband who doubles as the worlds best dishwasher and occasional cake delivery driver. I started my little business in 2017 after many years in property management. I create bespoke cakes specializing in buttercream, modeling chocolate, isomalt (sugar work), and very occasionally a small amount of fondant.

I love the taste and endless possibilities of buttercream.
My cakes are designed with originality in mind. It is very, very rare that I will replicate a cake - even my own. I believe custom cakes should be a centerpiece for an event that compliments all other aspects of the party, right down to the personality of the individual(s) being celebrated.
Whether that’s a family dinner party for 4, or a wedding reception for 400, every cake that leaves my kitchen is incredibly special to me.
I will likely always keep my business small and have no plans to expand to a storefront. I like keeping it small so I can personally focus on the intricate details of every cake.
I’m often asked how far in advance someone should book. The best answer - it’s never too early. Since I’m a full time cake artist, I’m able to take on a lot of orders, however I do book up, especially during wedding season and Holidays. Of course, it never hurts to ask if I have an opening for a last minute order, we just may be limited on design options.
